This chess set of my design is made entirely of desert ironwood. I took advantage of the different colored sapwood and heartwood. Even the knights are made on the lathe using offcenter turning technique. I have one set at Practical Art Gallery. $250. I have another set that includes a carrying case and chessboard in Don Terra Gallery. $600.
